Samsung is expected to introduce the Galaxy Book4 Edge series soon, along with the Snapdragon X Elite chipset. Samsung will introduce two laptop models: Galaxy Book4 Edge and Galaxy Book4 Edge Pro. The devices will have display sizes of 14 inches and 16 inches.

With Samsung’s future laptops, high performance seems to be a risk. WinFuture reported recently that Samsung will introduce a model with Snapdragon X Elite chipset with 12 performance cores. The ARM chipsets are often hybrid core architectures that prioritize energy efficiency, especially in laptops. Previously, Galaxy Book4 Edge scored close to Apple’s M series chips on Geekbench.

Galaxy Book4 Edge & Book4 Edge Pro:

There will be three variants of the Galaxy Book4 Edge. There are two models featuring the Snapdragon X Elite X1P-80-100 variant with a 12-core processor. All of these models will have at least 16 GB of RAM. Furthermore, the Galaxy Book4 Edge Pro will only be available in 16-inch sizes. In addition to the Snapdragon X Elite X1P-84-100 chipset, the laptop will feature 16 GB of RAM, although it’s unclear if there will be different RAM options. Throughout the series, laptop screens will be 3K resolution and 400 cd (candela).

Both 14- and 16-inch models feature HDMI, 3.5mm headphone jacks, as well as two USB-C ports, while the 14-inch model also includes a USB-A port and MicroSD card reader. It features a 61.8Wh battery and supports 65W fast charging over USB-C. With 1080p resolution and 150 nits screen brightness, Samsung promises 22 hours of battery life.

Pricing:

According to the listing, the 14-inch model is priced at SEK 20,927.00 (approx. Rs.1,62,800/-), while the 16-inch model is priced at SEK 22,085.00 (approx. Rs.1,71,800/-). They are both for Arctic Blue models with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Currently, we aren’t sure if there will be other storage and RAM versions.
