We now know with certainty when the Galaxy Tab S11 series will be released, as Samsung is getting ready to update its high-end tablet lineup later this year. The next-generation tablets, which promise improved performance, larger batteries, and enhanced AI-powered capabilities, are scheduled to be released in September 2025, according to a company executive.

A Samsung South Africa representative recently told Android Authority (July 9) that the Tab S11 series will launch “shortly, in line with our traditional cadence.” That schedule coincides with the Galaxy Tab S10 series’ September release, indicating a comparable launch window for this year.

Unlike the Tab S10 series, which had the “Plus” and “Ultra” models, the Galaxy Tab S11 series is anticipated to have just two models: the basic Galaxy Tab S11 and the larger Tab S11 Ultra. Additionally, a smaller 11-inch model, which fans missed last year, is back.

Both versions will come pre-installed with Android 16 and One UI 8, and they will be powered by MediaTek’s new Dimensity 9400+ chipset, which is an upgrade from the Dimensity 9300+ used in the S10 series. Rumour has it that the Tab S11 Ultra will retain its enormous 14.6-inch screen, while the standard model will feature an 11-inch AMOLED display and an 8,400mAh battery.
