The IQOO Z9 Turbo has been rumored in several news outlets recently. It has now been officially confirmed by the company. There is no exact date yet for the official launch of the product, which is scheduled to take place in April. We already know that the company is primarily focused on gaming phones. Due to this, the new phone is loaded with some powerful specs. According to the company’s official Weibo page, the phone will ship with Snapdragon 8s gen 3 out of the box.

A massive 6,000 mAh battery powers the phone under the hood. We do not know the rest of the specifications. As per the official image published by the company, we can see dual cameras with OIS. According to the previous disclosure, the thickness of the phone will remain around 7.98, making it a thin gaming phone. The official confirmation is not far away, but we must wait.

As a whole, the new Z9 Turbo significantly improves over the original IQOO Z9, which launched with a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 processor, 5000 mAh battery, and dual rear cameras of 50MP + 2MP. It remains to be seen whether it is a global product or a China-specific one.
