There are reports that POCO is working on a new budget smartphone model for the Indian market. According to the company’s India head, this won’t just be a cheap phone; it will be the world’s cheapest 5G device.
Himanshu Tandon, POCO’s Indian head, broke the news. The “POCO X Airtel” partnership will be announced soon, according to a teaser he posted recently. Tandon replied to a user on X who asked whether this was a new POCO Neo or F6 device. According to him, it will be the most affordable 5G phone to launch in India.
In a partnership with Airtel, the Chinese brand previously relaunched the POCO C51 model. The collaboration brought exclusive Airtel benefits, including affordable plans for those who purchased that model. The most affordable 5G phone won’t be revealed until this isn’t a simple rerelease.
