The Samsung Galaxy XCover 7 launched in India a month after the official announcement, including some useful features and enterprise-grade security. Rugged smartphones perform flawlessly under rough and tough conditions, making them more versatile for business and enterprise users. The 5G-enabled smartphone offers improved performance and more memory for a starting price of Rs 27,208 (~$327). There are two editions available: Standard and Enterprise.

This smartphone is military-grade MIL-STD-810H certified and is IP68 water and dust-resistant. In any condition, it offers flawless performance and durability.

Galaxy XCover 7 :

The new Galaxy XCover 7 sports a 6.6-inch FHD+ TFT display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. Built to withstand drops of up to 1.5 meters, the XCover7 features Corning Gorilla Glass Victus for long-lasting durability.

The notch carries a 5MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.0. On the back, the Galaxy XCover 7 features a 50MP single shooter with f/1.8 aperture. The scanners are optimized for barcode and QR code scanning, making them ideal for business use.

The Galaxy XCover 7 is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. It also comes with a dedicated microSD card slot. All this is packed with a 4050 mAh battery with 25W fast charging support and runs on Android 14 with One UI 6.0 on top. Further, the device also features a fingerprint scanner on the side. It measures 169×80.1×10.2mm and weighs 240g.

It comes with a 3.5mm audio jack, a POGO pin, and a USB-C port. In terms of connectivity, the smartphone offers 5G, LTE, WiFi 5, Wi-Fi Direct, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, QZSS, Bluetooth 5.3, and NFC. POGO’s charging dock, however, is sold separately.


In India, a Samsung Galaxy XCover 7 Standard Edition costs Rs.27208 while a Galaxy XCover 7 Enterprise Edition costs Rs.27,530. Both offer a 1-year standard warranty and a 2-year enterprise warranty. With the Enterprise edition, users can easily secure, deploy, and manage their devices throughout their lives.
