Samsung is reportedly gearing up to launch its first-ever tri-fold smartphone, rumoured to be called the Galaxy Z TriFold, as early as next month. This highly anticipated foldable device has been the subject of multiple leaks, revealing exciting new specifications and hinting at a groundbreaking addition to Samsung’s portfolio.

According to renowned tipster Evan Blass (aka evleaks), the Galaxy Z TriFold will feature a 6.5-inch cover display complemented by a large 10-inch inner screen when fully opened. The outer display is said to deliver an impressive 2,600 nits of peak brightness, offering excellent visibility outdoors, while the inner panel is expected to reach 1,600 nits.

Photography enthusiasts will be excited by reports that the device is set to sport a massive 200MP primary rear camera—the highest resolution yet on a Samsung foldable. Powering all of this will be a robust 5,437mAh battery. Under the hood, expectations point to a Snapdragon chipset, which should provide top-tier performance for multitasking and productivity.

In terms of design, the Galaxy Z TriFold will feature three panels with slightly different thicknesses —3.9mm, 4.0mm, and 4.2mm —creating a unique folding mechanism. When fully folded, the device is rumoured to be 14mm thick—striking a balance between portability and durability.

Samsung has already offered a sneak peek of the Z TriFold at a recent event in Korea, with video footage giving fans a closer look at the innovative design. While official confirmation is still pending, early rumours point to a potential launch date in Korea on December 5.

The Galaxy Z TriFold is shaping up to be one of the most intriguing smartphones of the year, combining powerful hardware, an innovative folding design, and advanced camera features. Stay tuned for more updates as Samsung’s next-generation foldable approaches its highly anticipated debut.
