It’s surprising how much hype Samsung has generated around its Galaxy Ring. The Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra were officially unveiled at the January Unpacked event. However, current speculation suggests that the ring will be released at the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6 announcement event in July.

The Galaxy Ring might be available before then, at least in some capacity. Samsung is expected to display the ring at its booth at MWC 2024. The Galaxy Ring is reportedly still in prototyping, with mass production set to start between April and June, so it may be a bit early to hope for a proper hands-on experience.

Because of this, we still don’t know everything about the Galaxy Ring. Samsung’s Galaxy Ring will support ECGs, blood pressure measurements, and NFC payments. It appears that eight different sizes will be available. According to reports, the ring will be extremely light and will also come in a variety of finishes.

Since the Galaxy Ring could be an exciting new chapter for the currently small smart ring niche, we’ll keep you posted.
