At its MWC 2024 event, Xiaomi unveiled the Xiaomi Watch 2, the Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro, and the Xiaomi Watch S3 wearables.

Xiaomi Watch 2:

The Xiaomi Watch 2 will likely have the same design as the Watch 2 Pro, except for one difference – it will not have a functioning crown. There will be a circular AMOLED display measuring 1.43 inches with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels, and always-on mode will be available for both models. Due to the glass cover, the large bezel surrounding the screen is not visible at first glance. It will be water-resistant to 5ATM.

Xiaomi Watch 2 is said to be powered by the Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 quad-core chipset, the same as the Pro model. The battery life is claimed to be 65 hours. In addition to running Google’s wearOS, the wearable device may include pre-installed apps such as Google Wallet, Google Maps, and Play Store. Xiaomi Watch 2 will have Bluetooth 5.2, WiFi, NFC, GPS, and GNSS. The device will not be LTE-compatible.

There will be 150 sports modes available on the Xiaomi Watch 2. Additionally, it will feature sleep monitors, SpO2 sensors, heart rate monitors, and step counters.

Xiaomi Watch S3:

Xiaomi Watch S3 offers a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with interchangeable straps and bezels. On the home screen, the bezel can be twisted and snapped into place to display a unique dial.

Along with over 180+ free watch faces, the watch also supports portrait auto-keying, so users can embed information data into their portrait photos to create a unique personal watch face.

It runs the new Xiaomi HyperOS. In addition to its aluminum alloy frame, the watch has over 150 sports modes, including new winter sports, L1+L5 dual-band GNSS, and 10 running courses to optimize performance for runners of all levels.

In addition to advanced health monitoring capabilities, the smartwatch features a 12-channel heart rate monitoring module that gives more accurate measurements of heartbeat. Based on the 7-day sleep pattern, it generates a “Sleep Animal” that accurately represents the user’s sleep condition.

With just a 5-minute charge, you can use the watch for up to two days.

Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro:

There is a rectangular dial on the Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro. This watch has no physical buttons and its strap can be changed. The device features a 1.74-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 336 x 480 pixels. There is a 60Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 600 nits, an always-on display, and a color depth of 16.7 million. For easy access on the home screen, the fitness band comes with customizable widgets. Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro is water-resistant to 5 meters.

Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro comes with a heart rate monitor, SpO2 sensor, sleep tracker, and a menstrual cycle monitor for women. In addition to tracking stress levels, the wearable device offers breath training. The app supports more than 150 sports modes, as well as a smart running mode and running lessons. In addition to accessing the user’s current health, the fitness band can also measure their vitality. With the Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro, users will be able to track data related to somatic senses while boxing.

Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro comes with a GNSS chip that supports five satellite systems. Through the Miaoxiang Center, users can control other Xiaomi smart devices via the wearable device’s voice assistant.
