As part of its Galaxy Unpacked event, Samsung recently unveiled the Galaxy S24 series and the Galaxy Book 4 series for its home market. There is also a new tablet in the works, which may be the successor to the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite.

Samsung may be working on a new Galaxy Tab S6 Lite model. An unnamed Galaxy Tab carrying the SM-P620 model number was spotted on GeekBench. The Tab S6 Lite had the SM-P610 model number in a previous iteration. This tablet is powered by the Exynos 1280 SoC and comes with 4GB of RAM, according to benchmarking results.

Out of the box, the device ran Android 14. According to the results, the SM-P620 scores 930 points in the single-core test and 1840 points in the multi-core test. The successor Galaxy Tab S6 Lite has not been detailed in any greater detail. Samsung previously refreshed the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2022 Edition. This suggests a 2024 edition is likely based on the latest sighting.

The Lite versions of the Galaxy Tab are more affordable than the flagship models. At this point, this is just speculation and no official announcement has been made. Stay tuned for more information as we will provide an update when additional information becomes available.
