OnePlus has finally announced the top-end flagship with OnePlus 12. The new OnePlus 12 is the direct successor to the OnePlus 11 which was launched earlier this year. The new OnePlus 12 will launch globally including India on Jan 23.
Design:
OnePlus 12’s overall design is quite similar to the OnePlus 11 as can be seen in the image. The back panel has a round camera module with three cameras inside; a fourth camera ring contains sensors and the Hasselblad logo. Outside the round camera module, the LED flash unit is located at the top-left corner.
Three colors will be available, including Classic Black, Pristine White, and Vibrant Green. The device will have a curved-edge OLED display on the front, as revealed in a previous image. OnePlus has introduced a new integrated antenna and Alert Slider solution on the new device so that enhanced antenna performance can be delivered for gaming on the left-hand side, according to the company.
Using AG technology, the phone imprints it onto the glass surface. In the end, OnePlus achieved a meticulously crafted texture that perfectly reproduced the interwoven strands and seamlessly complemented its cutting-edge technology. It measures 9.15mm thick and weighs 220g.

OnePlus 12 will ship with the same 6.82 inches (3216 x 1440p) 2K LTPO 3.0 OLED Pro-XDR BOE X1 display curved display. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on top. It comes with 4500nits peak brightness, 1600nits peak full-screen brightness, DisplayMate A+ rating, & Dolby vision support. There is also Pixelworks X7 Independent display chip along with Supervooc S chip.
The OnePlus 12 is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC coupled with 12GB/16GB/24GB RAM and 256GB/512GB/1TB storage space. It features triple rear cameras which are been customized by Hasselblad.
It features a 50MP main Sony LYT808 sensor with OIS coupled with a 64MP Omnivision OV64B telephoto lens and 3x optical zoom. There is a 48MP Sony IMX581 ultra-wide lens with LED flash. This time there is a massive 32MP Sony IMX615 selfie shooter.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE support, and 5G Dual Mode (SA/NSA) support. Wi-Fi 7, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, USB Type-C 3.2 port and linear dual stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res Audio certification. It comes with an X-axis linear motor for haptics AAC Technologies (CSA+ 0916) Bionic vibration motor codename Megatron.
It comes with an IP65 rating making it dust and water-resistant. The device packs a 5400 mAh battery with 100W fast wired & 50W fast wireless charge support. The OnePlus 12 also supports 10W reverse wireless charging. It runs on Android 14 With ColorOS 14 on top.
Pricing:
The OnePlus 12 costs 4299 yuan (Rs.50,600/-) for the 12GB + 256GB model, 4799 yuan (Rs.56,600/-) for the 16GB +512GB model, and 5299 yuan for the top-end 16GB + 1TB model (Rs.62,500 approx.). The high-end 24GB+1TB cost 5799 Yuan (Rs.68,400/-) in China.
