OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei founded Nothing, a London-based tech company, several weeks ago.

It was first reported that Nothing was working on something new, possibly the next-generation Nothing Ear (3), expected to arrive early next year. It appears that a more budget-friendly Nothing Phone (2a) is in development, and we may even find out when it will launch.

Nothing is expected to announce the Nothing Phone (2a) launch date later this week, according to serial tipster Abhishek Yadav. The leaker Ishan Agarwal also believes the launch date is close on X.

According to Nothing’s updated bio on X, something new will be revealed this week. Recently, a new Nothing device was spotted on BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards), suggesting an imminent India launch. It could be the rumored Nothing Phone (2a).

Nothing certified a phone battery with model number NT03, further hinting at the existence of this smartphone and the possibility of a different battery size from the Phone (2).

According to rumors, the Nothing Phone (2a) will feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display. The Phone (2) is also said to have a center-aligned selfie camera, but it might not have an LTPO panel.
