The OnePlus 12 will launch in China tomorrow (Dec. 5). It is not expected to debut alongside the OnePlus 12 tomorrow, as OnePlus officially acknowledged its existence in October. Chinese tipsters predict the OnePlus Ace 3 will be revealed later this month.

According to tipster WHYLAB, the OnePlus Ace 3 will be announced later this month. Nevertheless, a screenshot of an upcoming device on a Chinese retailer site shows that the Ace 3 will launch on Dec. 17. It is likely that the brand will confirm its launch date within the next week if the launch date is accurate.

Camera:

CQC has listed the OnePlus 12R as supporting 100W fast charging. OnePlus 12R with same model number was also spotted on Camera FV 5, which revealed the device’s camera specifications.

OnePlus 12R is expected to offer a triple rear camera arrangement with two 50MP sensors, a 24.6mm focal length, and f1.8 aperture, as well as OIS and EIS stabilization. The cameras will take pixel-binned images of 12.6MP. Featuring an 8MP sensor, 18.5mm focal length, f2.2 aperture, and EIS, the third camera will capture 7.4MP pixel-binned images. It is believed that the OnePlus Ace 3 will feature a metal frame reminiscent of the matte aluminum alloy frame found on the Apple Watch, which indicates premium build quality. In addition, the device will feature a 1.5K curved display and a stylish gunmetal grey glass body.

Additionally, DCS revealed the Ace 3 will use a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, positioning it as a high-end mid-range smartphone. The device is expected to have a substantial 5500mAh battery and support 100W fast charging, promising excellent battery life and rapid charging.

A 50MP main camera with a 1/1.56-inch IMX890 sensor, a 32MP telephoto lens, and an 8MP wide-angle lens will be available for photography enthusiasts. It is also expected to feature a 6.74-inch LTPO 120Hz OLED display with a peak brightness of 2,600 nits.
