There is a fever pitch of anticipation for Grand Theft Auto 6. GTA 6 map details and gameplay footage have been leaked just days before its official reveal.

According to the leaked footage, posted to TikTok by azzarossi, GTA 6 is in development. The camera moves freely while developer notes are displayed on the screen, showing the metropolis area of Vice City.

It provides another glimpse of the highly anticipated game but does not reveal much about its gameplay. As GTA fans compared the leaked footage to last year’s leaks, they found similar buildings and landmarks.

A further layer of intrigue surrounds the leak, as it is unclear who leaked the information. Azzarossi is the son of a Rockstar Games employee, according to reliable GTA source GTA Base.

GTA 6 has also been circulating online with more details in addition to the leaked footage. GTA 6 will feature a map twice the size of Los Santos in GTA V, according to these leaks. The map includes three major cities and four sub-cities, as well as a large lake in the center.

According to the leaker, 70% of the buildings in GTA 6 will be enterable, and the game will launch in fall 2024. The first trailer will be released this week, followed by pre-orders.

According to GTA Base, even though the evidence linking the leaker to the Rockstar employee is convincing, it’s also possible that the picture used as evidence is fake or a third party is impersonating the leaker.
