In China, iQOO is set to launch its latest flagship smartphones, the iQOO 12 and iQOO 12 Pro, on Nov. 7. Leaked posters circulating on Weibo reveal the specifications of these upcoming smartphones.

Design:

The new iQOO 12 Pro will arrive with the same old center punch-hole curved display on the front with bezel-less sides. The iQOO 12 comes with a flat center punch-hole display with slimmer bezels.

 

On the back, both the iQOO 12 & iQOO 12 Pro come with an identical camera module that features triple cameras. Yes, there is a huge square-shaped camera module with rounded corners on the upper-left corner. A pill-shaped vertical LED flash rests on the right side of the camera module. The phones will have a metallic frame and be available in white (glass back with BMW stripes), black (glass back), and red (leather back).

iQOO 12:

The iQOO 11 arrives with the same 6.78-inch 1.5K OLED BOE display on the front. It does come with an adaptive refresh rate of up to 144Hz with HDR10+ support. The display also features a whopping 3000 nits of peak brightness.

As expected the iQOO 12 will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB LPDDR5x RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB UFS 4.0 storage space. The device will come with a 50MP  OmniVision OV50H main sensor coupled with gimble stabilization. There is a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultra-wide with f/2.2 & 64MP OV64B  telephoto lens (f/2.46) with 3x optical zoom & OIS. It also gets massive 100x digital zoom support.

 

There is a 16MP selfie shooter on the front. The new iQOO 12 will pack a 5000 mAh battery with a whopping 120W fast wired charging. It runs on Android 14 OS with FunTouch OS 14 on top.

It comes with stereo speakers with Hi-Res Audio support. The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE, NFC, IR Blaster, 5G, A-GPS, GLONASS, Wifi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and USB Type-C port. It measures 8.4mm thick and weighs 205g. The device also gets an IP64-rated chassis & extra-large X-axis linear motor for haptic feedback.

iQOO 12 Pro:

The new iQOO 12 Pro will be the successor to the iQOO 11 Pro which was introduced earlier this year. The iQOO 11 Pro arrives with the same 6.78-inch QHD+ AMOLED Samsung E7 LTPO 2.0 display on the front. It does come with an adaptive refresh rate of up to 144Hz & 2700 nits of peak brightness. The display also has 1440Hz PWM dimming and an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor.
