Design:

iQOO has now managed to reveal the first look of the cheaper iQOO 12 ahead of the Nov 7 launch. Previously we already saw leaks of the alleged iQOO 12 series which turns out to be real after all. Sadly, the brand has not revealed the front look and shown only the rear of the device.

The rear panels of of the new iQOO 12 series appear to be almost identical. There is a square-shaped camera module with rounded corners on the upper-left corner of the iQOO 12 series. A pill-shaped vertical LED flash rests on the right side of the camera module, which houses three cameras and 100x zoom branding.

Specs:

According to the new leaks, the iQOO 12 will feature a 144Hz refresh rate display powered by a Q1 display processor. Using hardware acceleration and ray tracing, it is able to produce realistic lighting, reflections, and shadows, enabling gamers to experience a more immersive gaming experience.

As part of Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-power, an X-axis motor with 1016 degrees is said to be included, which is nearly two times larger than any linear motor previously used in iQOO devices. The device will be equipped with dual speakers arranged symmetrically for audiophiles.

The iQOO 12 will either include a periscope telephoto camera or a traditional telephoto camera, according to recent reports. The latest leak indicates the iQOO 12 will feature a 64-megapixel OV64B periscope telephoto lens. It will also feature a new image-processing algorithm. It is reported that the periscope telephoto lens will be 30 percent larger, enhancing the phone’s photography capabilities.

The iQOO 12 features a right-angle metal middle frame and a plastic-free bracket. There have been previous leaks claiming IP64-rated dust and water resistance. With these upgrades, the iQOO 12 should be durable and strong.
