MacBook Pro 2023:

New M3 MacBook Pro models feature the latest chipsets from the brand, including the M3, M3 Pro, and M3 Max. In an industry first, these processors were built using 3nm fabrication technology. In this regard, the new MacBook Pro models are notable for their power efficiency. According to Apple, these models can last up to 22 hours on a single charge.

Additionally, they feature the largest-ever leap forward in Apple silicon with the next-generation GPU. The new GPU supports Dynamic Caching, hardware-accelerated mesh shading, and hardware-accelerated ray tracing (a first for MacBooks). Dynamic Caching ensures that each task receives the exact amount of RAM it needs by utilizing local RAM in real-time. Ray-tracing and mesh shading are further enhanced by hardware acceleration.

Apple claims that the M3 processors have 30% and 50% faster performance cores and efficiency cores than the first-generation M1 chips. Moreover, their Neural Engine is 60% faster for AI-based tasks. For a high-quality and efficient video streaming experience, a new media engine supports AV1 decoding. Apple offers these processors with up to 128GB of unified memory.

Liquid Retina Displays are available in 14-inch and 16-inch sizes on all three M3 MacBook Pro models. With a peak brightness of 600 nits, the display is 20% brighter in SDR. It offers a peak brightness of 1,600 nits and a sustained brightness of 1,000 nits in HDR. All three models have a 1080p camera, three microphones, and six speakers. The new MacBook Pro has MagSafe, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, three USB-C Thunderbolt ports, and an HDMI port for connectivity. The Magic Keyboard and Touch ID fingerprint scanner are also new features.
