The latest 24-inch iMac M3 and MacBook Pro models were recently announced at Apple’s Scary Fast online event. Interestingly, Apple last launched the 24-inch iMac with the first generation M1 chipset in 2021. In 2023, Apple launched a 24-inch iMac refresh with the latest M3 processor instead of the M2.

This 24-inch iMac M3 comes with a 4.5K Retina Display with a resolution of 4,480 x 2,520 pixels and supports 1 Billion colors. Moreover, the display has True Tone technology, a P3 wide color gamut, and a 500 nits brightness. With native DisplayPort output over USB-C, the 24-inch iMac M3 supports one external display with up to 6K resolution at 60Hz. The new iMac also supports Dolby Vision, HDR, HDR10, and HLG. The new iMac comes with a six-speaker system with force-cancelling woofers, spatial audio with Dolby Atmos, and three microphones.

It comes with the latest M3 silicon, which gives it excellent performance. Apple offers an 8-core CPU and a 10-core GPU with 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD. It features Dynamic Caching, hardware-accelerated mesh shading, and hardware-accelerated ray tracing. Besides Dynamic Caching, the other two improve gaming and creative graphic rendering.

Apple offers Magic Keyboard and Magic Mouse for input with the 8-core GPU model. With the exception of the Magic Keyboard with Touch ID, the 10-core GPU model also comes with the same accessories. The laptop comes with Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and Thunderbolt 4 or USB-C 4 ports for connectivity.

Apple’s baseline 8-core GPU model starts at Rs 1,34,900 with a special price of Rs 1,29,900 for students and educators. There are four colors available for this model: green, pink, blue, and silver. The more powerful 10-core GPU model starts at Rs 1,54,900 and can be purchased for Rs 1,49,900 with education discount. There are six colors available for this model: green, yellow, orange, pink, purple, blue, and silver.
