On September 14, Motorola promises to announce the Edge 40 Edge. For the upcoming launch, the Romanian branch shared a teaser spotted by mobilissimo.ro.

A Pantone-named version of the smartphone is expected to be released, including Soothing Sea Blue (because seawater goes “splash”). Further we also got the detailed specs sheet leaked.

Motorola Edge 40 Neo:

The new Motorola Edge 40 Neo will sport 6.55 inches FHD+ 10-bit pOLED curved display. It comes with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400p with 10-bit colors & supports a 144Hz refresh rate. The device gets in-display fingerprint scanner support & comes with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on top.

The device is powered by the new Dimensity 1050 SoC coupled with 12GB RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage space. It measures 7.8mm thick and weighs 170g.

 

The Motorola Edge 40 Neo will feature a 50MP main 1/1.55″ sensor with OIS coupled with a 13MP ultra-wide with 120-degrees FoV. There is a 32MP selfie shooter under the punch-hole notch.

 

The connectivity options include an in-display fingerprint scanner, Dual 5G support, USB-C with DisplayPort 1.4 support, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and GPS.  This time the device also gets IP68 certified making it dust and water-resistant.

All this is packed with a 5000 mAh battery with 68W fast charge support.  It runs on Android 13 OS out of the box.
