According to a leakster on Weibo earlier today, the vivo X100 Pro+ will have three impressive cameras. According to reports, the upcoming flagship will feature a 50 MP main camera with a Sony IMX989 sensor – the same sensor used in the X90 Pro+. We’ll likely see a variable aperture here, similar to what Huawei did with the P60 Pro’s f/1.4-f/4.0 main camera.

There would also be a massive improvement for such a camera if it had a 200 MP telephoto lens. On paper, this sounds impressive, but we believe it will be a 50 MP sensor with pixel-binning.

Portrait cameras are also said to have 50MP sensors with Sony IMX758 sensors. It is the same one used in the vivo X90 Pro+ and X90 Pro that has 2x optical zoom, AF, and OIS.

The phone would have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, which means we won’t see it until Qualcomm releases it. The X100 Pro+ will also feature LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. Under the screen, the leakster claimed an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and IP68 water- and dust-proofing.

The X100 Pro+ will have all the features we’ve seen in flagships over the past year, so we shouldn’t be surprised to see them. Vivo has not launched a Qualcomm-powered phone since it went international with the X80 Pro in mid-2022.
