Earlier this month, a tipster claimed iQOO is working on the iQOO 11S, another smartphone in the iQOO 11 series. Its model number, launch date, and key specifications were shared by the tipster. Digital Chat Station has tipped the specifications of the forthcoming device ahead of any official confirmation from iQOO.

According to the tipster, the most significant change between the vanilla 11 and the upcoming 11S is the addition of fast charging and performance upgrades. It is likely that iQOO will ship its smartphone with a high-core frequency or overclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. We saw a similar chipset in the Galaxy S23 series.

While the battery capacity is unknown, the tipster said iQOO would support 200W fast charging. It is likely that iQOO will retain its Samsung E6 AMOLED screen with a 2K resolution. It will have the same 144Hz refresh rate as the iQOO 11. In addition, the Chinese OEM will ship the smartphone with a 50MP primary rear camera with a V2 ISP imaging system.

IQOO has not yet commented on the launch of its upcoming smartphone. iQOO 11S is primarily targeted at the Chinese market. iQOO might launch the smartphone in selected global markets, according to a recent report. According to the report, the model number would be V2304A. In China, iQOO is likely to launch the smartphone in Q3 2023.

It is also expected that the global launch will take place between June and August. Two RAM and storage options will be offered by iQOO. It will be available in two variants: an 8GB variant with 256GB of storage, and a 12GB variant with 512GB. iQOO is expected to use LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.0 storage.
