Several details have been leaked about the Xiaomi MIX Fold 3, the upcoming addition to the MIX Fold foldable phone series. According to the publication, Xiaomi’s MIX Fold 3 is set to launch in the Chinese market under the codename “Babylon” and model number 2308CPXD0C (shorted name: L18). It is scheduled to launch in August based on the “2308” numbers. According to the article, the device is likely to launch on Aug. 11. Apparently, the device will remain exclusive to the Chinese market according to its MIUI firmware.

Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 has a 6.5-inch OLED FHD+ 120Hz cover screen and an 8.02-inch OLED FHD+ 120Hz inner foldable screen. There will be a punch-hole design on both displays. It is expected to feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, LPDDR5 RAM, and UFS 4.0 storage. There will be 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage on the top-of-the-line variant.

The Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 is expected to feature a Leica quad-camera system. It features a 50MP IMX989 sensor, a 50MP IMX858 ultra-wide camera, a 50MP telephoto lens, and a 50MP periscope lens. Users will be able to take exceptional photos with this setup.

According to rumors, the MIX Fold 3 will offer 67W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. It also has an IP rating, which adds extra water resistance.

Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 is expected to run MIUI 14 and Android 13, providing users with the most up-to-date software. It is also rumored to be thinner and lighter than Xiaomi MIX Fold 2, which measures 11.2mm (folded) in thickness and weighs 262 grams.

Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 will be available in black leather and white glass colors. Aside from China, it won’t be available in other markets.
