According to reports, iQOO plans to launch a couple of new phones in the Chinese market. The iQOO Neo 8 and iQOO Neo 8 Pro are expected to be unveiled in May. It is expected to be the world’s first smartphone powered by Dimensity 9200 Plus. This year’s iQOO 11S is expected to feature the same chip. In addition, the brand is said to be working on the iQOO 12 and iQOO 12 Pro flagship devices. The standard iQOO 12 appears to have charging capabilities, according to tipster Digital Chat Station.

With the iQOO 10 Pro, which debuted in July 2022, iQOO introduced 200W wired charging. It was also available on the iQOO 11 Pro, which was released in China in January. There haven’t been any launches outside of China for these smartphones. The iQOO 10 and iQOO 11 were available in 120W versions.

DCS claimed in January that the iQOO 12 series would offer wireless charging as well as faster wired charging. According to the screengrab above, an iQOO phone will feature a 5,000mAh battery and a 200W charger. The tipster has spilled the beans on the iQOO 12’s battery capacity and charging capabilities. It is possible that the iQOO 12 will also support wireless charging at 50W.

As far as the iQOO 12 lineup is concerned, nothing else was revealed by the tipper. Both the iQOO 12 and 12 Pro will be next-generation flagship phones, so they’ll be equipped with the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. The iQOO 12 series may break cover by the end of the year.
