The Neo 8 series is expected to include two smartphones from iQOO. iQOO’s Neo 8 5G and Neo 8 Pro are expected to reach the market in May 2023.
The Neo 8 Pro has been leaked by Digital Chat Station, a renowned tipster, giving us an idea of what to expect from its upcoming release. With a 1.5K resolution display, the Neo 8 Pro offers significant improvements over the 1080p display found in the Neo 7 series.
iQOO Neo 8 Pro will also feature a powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ SoC, making it the most premium processor is ever seen in an iQOO Neo phone. There are no details about the upcoming SoC at this time, but it is expected to offer incremental improvements over the Dimensity 9200 SoC. Later this year, the company is expected to reveal more details about the SoC. There will also be a 50MP primary lens on the Neo 8 Pro, which is set to use a 1/1.5-inch sensor.
In addition to the triple camera setup, Neo 8 Pro is expected to offer 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage (UFS 4.0). A 120W fast charging feature may also be included out of the box. Similar to the Neo 7 series, the phone is expected to have a 5000mAh battery.
Under the hood, the Neo 8 series is expected to feature a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. The Neo 8 series is yet to launch in India, as previous top-end models in the lineup have not been sold here.
