Samsung is rumored to unveil the Galaxy Z Fold 5 in August. Chun claims that the Z Fold 5 will have the same camera setup as the Galaxy S23 Plus. The main camera setup of the Z Fold 5 does not appear to offer any significant upgrade over the Galaxy Z Fold 4.

With the Galaxy S23 Plus, you’ll get a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and a 10MP telephoto camera with optical image stabilization and 3x optical zoom. Galaxy Z Fold 4 has the same set of cameras.

Chun’s leak supports a tweet from tipster Ice Universe last week, which said the Galaxy Z Fold 5 would use the same camera module as the Z Fold 4. As of right now, there is no information available about the Z Fold 5’s other internal or selfie camera.

As with its predecessor, the Z Fold 5 appears to have a similar design. Several reports claim that it will feature a 7.6-inch foldable AMOLED screen on the inside and a 6.2-inch cover display. There may be a new hinge that will significantly reduce the crease on the foldable display. There will be Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection on both screens.
