The Google Pixel 7a specifications have leaked ahead of its launch at Google I/O 2023. According to tipster Debayan Roy (Gadgetsdata), the handset’s display, processor, camera, software, and charging speed have been revealed. Combined with the leaked Pixel 7a design renders, there is no room for speculation.

The Pixel 7a will feature an OLED panel measuring 6.1 inches and a 90Hz refresh rate, Roy tweeted. According to leaked renders, the selfie camera will be positioned in the center of the smartphone’s punch-hole cutout.

This handset is powered by the Tensor G2 SoC manufactured by Samsung and Google. The same processor powers the flagship Pixel 7 series as well. A further boost to performance is provided by LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.

There will be a dual rear camera setup on the upcoming smartphone. It is expected that the primary sensor will be a 64MP Sony IMX787 and a 12MP ultrawide lens will be the secondary sensor. Sony’s IMX787 CMOS Exmor RS image sensor can capture brilliant low-light shots with a high dynamic range. We can expect the front camera to have the same 10.8MP lens as its more expensive siblings – Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro.

Stock Android 13 is said to be loaded out of the box on the Pixel 7a. The leak indicates that the handset will support 5W wireless charging.
