In India, Google has announced its new Play rewards program. There are already many countries where users can earn points and rewards using Google Play, including India. Later this week, Play Points will be available in India. With Google Play, users will be able to earn points when they purchase in-app items, apps, games, and subscriptions.

Play Points has finally been launched in India by Google. Over 100 million people are already enrolled in the program in 28 countries. Later this week, the Play Points program will go live in India. The points will be given to users once they make a purchase. Rewards can be earned at four different levels – Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. Your level is determined by your points. Your perks and prizes will vary according to your level.

You can join the program for free. On Android smartphones, users can open the Play Store application. On the top right, tap your profile icon, then tap Play Points.

Points can be redeemed for special in-app purchases. The company said it has partnered with over 30 games in India, including 8 Ball Pool, Evony: The King’s Return, etc.

Many popular Indian apps participate in the rewards program, including Truecaller and Wysa. There are more options and rewards for users thanks to Google’s collaboration with developers.

Further, Google pledged to build products and programs that the Play community – both users and developers – would find valuable. Local developers will have a new avenue to engage, discover, and acquire users across multiple markets that have Play Points through the new program.
