Digital Chat Station reported in June that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 (SD8550) would include a 1+2+2+3 CPU configuration, with one Cortex-X3, two Cortex-A720, two Cortex-A710, and three Cortex-A510 cores. However, new online information reveals different specifications.
YES, that’s a Cortex-A715 core in place of a Cortex-A720 one, which comes from Ice universe, another reliable tipster. The Cortex-X3 is expected to reach 3.2GHz, while the Cortex-A510 will reach 2GHz. There will be up to 2.8GHz clocking on the Cortex-A715 and Cortex-A710.

According to rumors, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 will come equipped with an Adreno 740 GPU for handling graphics-intensive tasks such as gaming and video editing.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is also rumored to be available with an ultra-high frequency variant, designed to run at 3.4-3.5 GHz.
Qualcomm has not announced anything about the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, but it is hosting the Snapdragon Summit in Hawaii between November 15-17, where it is likely to unveil the flagship chip.
