In December 2021, Samsung launched the Galaxy A03 Core, a budget phone with an affordable price tag. The Galaxy A04 Core will be the successor. Geekbench has revealed details about the Samsung Galaxy A04 Core’s processor, RAM, and operating system.

According to Geekbench, the Samsung Galaxy A04 Core device will carry the model number SM-A042F. It will ship with Android 12 out of the box and have 3GB of RAM, but Samsung will also offer more RAM and storage options.

Moreover, the Galaxy A04 is said to have an octa-core chipset with a base frequency of 2.3GHz and a motherboard codenamed “a04e”. The processor’s name is “MT6765V/CB”. Based on these details, we believe this might be the MediaTek Helio G35 SoC with PowerVR Rogue GE8320 GPU. Helio G37 and P35 also have the same 2.3GHz clock speed and GPU, so the phone could also be powered by one of these as well.
The device has a single-core score of 802 and a multicore score of 3556. There is likely to be a matte finish on the device’s back panel. This phone has a similar design to the Galaxy A03 Core. It is expected that the phone will launch in India as well as globally in the near future.
