A few days after teasing the Redmi K50 Ultra, Xiaomi officially launched the device in China. Compared to Xiaomi’s 12/12S lineup, the Redmi K50 looks somewhat similar. It also comes with some interesting specs.

Redmi K50 Ultra comes with a centre punch-hole display on the front. It gets quad-curved edges with slimmer bezels surrounding the display. On the back, we got triple rear cameras which look similar to Xiaomi 12 series-like modules. Further, we can notice the mention of 108MP on the camera module. It measures 8.6mm thick & weighs 182g.

The Redmi K50 Ultra sports a smaller 6.67 inches 1.5K (2712 x 1220p) OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It also gets 12-bit colours, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and 1100-nits brightness. It features in-display fingerprint scanner.

The Redmi K50 Ultra comes with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. The Redmi K50 Ultra will come with 8GB/12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB/256GB UFS 3.1 storage.

Redmi K50 Ultra features a 108MP1/1.67″ Samsung HM6 main sensor with OIS support. It comes with 8MP ultra-wide sensor with an f/2.2 aperture along with a 2MP macro lens with an f/2.4 aperture. It features 20MP Sony IMX596 selfie shooter under the punch-hole notch.

The Redmi K50 Ultra packs a 5000 mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. The connectivity options include Dual SIM with 4G LTE & 5G support, NFC, IR blaster, Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6, and USB Type-C port with X-axis linear motor. It runs on MIUI 13 with Android 12 OS out of the box.

The Redmi K50 Ultra cost 2999 Yuan (Rs.35,500/-), 8GB+256G at 3299 Yuan (Rs.38,900/-) & 12GB+256GB at 3599 Yuan (Rs.42,500/-) in China. Redmi K50 Ultra comes in Black, Silver and Blue colours.
