In China, Xiaomi launched its latest tablet, the Pad 5 Pro 12.4. It also unveiled its latest foldable called the Xiaomi Mix Fold 2. Compared to the Pad 5 Pro launched last year, the new tablet is quite different. A Snapdragon 870 SoC, a 12.4-inch 2.5K LCD screen, and a 10,000mAh battery power this tab.

Design:

The design and appearance of the Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 12.4-inch have been significantly changed. Bezels have been trimmed down by the company. On the front, it maintains the same four sides of the previous full-screen equal-width approach.
A different story unfolds on the device’s back. It now has the same camera module as the Xiaomi 12 Series devices.

The Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 12.4 is powered by the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor as the Pad 5 Pro launched in 2021. You can choose between a 6GB+128GB and an 8GB + 256GB storage version. In addition, it is available in a version with 12GB + 512GB storage.

Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 12.4 sports a triple camera setup comprising a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a pair of 2-megapixel depth-of-field sensors. It features a 20-megapixel camera for taking selfies and making video calls. Compared to the previous device, the camera system has improved greatly.

Xiaomi Pad Pro 12.4 comes with a massive 10000mAh battery and supports 67W fast charging. In just 68 minutes, the device is said to be fully charged. With a quad-speaker setup and two microphones, the tablet provides immersive sound. MIUI 13 is installed by default.
