One UI 5.0 beta leak reveals UI changes, new features, and animations. You’ll find changes to the notification panel, keyboard, permission pop-up, security, and privacy in the update. 9to5Google has uncovered the details about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S22 custom skin.

The notification center looks bigger and has a different opacity on One UI 5 than on One UI 4.0. A new OCR (Optical Character Recognition) feature allows for the detection of text from images and the copying and pasting of it. You can also copy and paste text from an image or the camera into messages using the keyboard.

In addition, Samsung has modified the app permissions pop-up menu. Taking up the center of the screen, it now looks like stock Android 13. A new Ultra-Wideband toggle has also been added to the Settings app’s Connections section. There are now lock screen options, user accounts, Find My Mobile, app security, Google Play system updates, and privacy features in the Security and Privacy Hub.

Additionally, Samsung reportedly added two new animations to the swipe to open a pop-up view in the Labs section and the swipe to multitask in split-screen mode. A picture of the phone is also displayed in the ‘About Phone’ section of the quick settings. Share notes with up to 100 users and see them live right away.
