The 2020 iPad Air sports 10.9 inches Liquid Retina display with a resolution of 2360x1640p. It measures 6.1 mm thick and weighs around 458 grams. It is also made out of an all-metal back and will arrive in six colors space gray, starlight, pink, purple, and blue finishes.
The 2022 iPad Air is powered by the latest Apple M1 SoC coupled with a 64GB/256GB storage option. It comes with stereo speakers for better audio and still features a 3.5 mm audio jack along with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner or TouchID. Yes, the first Apple device featuring a side-mounted fingerprint scanner was placed on top of the device. The new iPad Air comes with Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard support. The new iPad Air comes with Stereo speakers along with dual mics.
The other connectivity option includes Wifi-6, 5G, 4G LTE support, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C port, A-GPS, GLONASS. It comes with 10 Hours standby time for Wifi only variant. It comes with a 20W USB Type-C adapter within the package and packs a 28.6 Wh battery.
The new iPad Air 2022 will start from $599 for 64GB Wifi-Only (Rs.44,100/-) & Wifi+Cellular at $729 (Rs.53,700/-) and goes on sale from March 18. The iPad Air 2022 cost Rs.54,900/- for 64GB Wifi only model and Wifi+LTE at 68,900/- in India.
