Apple has officially launched the much-awaited affordable smartphone aka iPhone SE 2022 or iPhone SE 3 today. With almost two long years of the predecessor aka iPhone SE 2020 launch, the company has upgraded with the new iPhone SE 2022.
DESIGN:
Apple’s new iPhone SE is now having a metal and glass body similar to the iPhone 8. As per Apple the Glass back is the most durable glass on both front as well as the back of the device and it uses an Aerospace-grade Aluminium frame. Now both the Apple iPhone SE 2022 will be available in three color options midnight, starlight, and (PRODUCT)RED. Apple iPhone SE 2022 weighs 148 grams and is 7.3mm thick.
SPECS:
Apple iPhone SE 2022 is having the same 4.7 inches 1334 x 750p Retina HD display similar to iPhone 8. It comes with True Tone Display, finger-resistant Oleophobic coating, 3D Touch, and Dual-domain Pixel for wider viewing angles. The iPhone SE 2020 is powered by iPhone 13 debut Apple A15 Bionic SoC. There are three storage variants with 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB models.
The new Apple iPhone SE 2022 is having a single 12MP wide-angle sensor at the back with an aperture of f/1.8, Quad-LED flash, and 5x digital zoom. It features a 7MP selfie camera with an aperture of f/2.2 comes with Retina Flash, Auto HDR mode, and Wide Color capture with a Live photo. It can record videos up to 4K @60 fps, Slowmo video at 1080p @240 fps and the front camera can record videos up to 1080p.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM (e-SIM support) with 5G, 4G LTE, and VoLTE support, Dual Band Wifi, A-GPS, GLONASS, NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, fingerprint scanner at the front below the display which doubles up as Home button, and Stereo speaker. It also features an IP67 rating which makes it water-resistant along with Qi standards Wireless charging and also comes with fast charging capabilities. The device will run iOS 15 out of the box.
The new iPhone SE 2022 will also feature MagSafe support. It will come with Ceramic Sheild Glass which made its debut on iPhone 12 series.
PRICING:
The new iPhone SE will come with a starting price of $429 (Rs.33,100/-) for 64GB storage, in the US. It will go on sale from March 18 Globally including India. The new iPhone SE 2022 pricing starts at Rs.43,990/- in India.
