Xiaomi Mi 8

Xiaomi is all set to capture the premium segment after OnePlus became the top brand under the premium segment last week. Xiaomi is now planning to introduce two new top of the line devices with Xiaomi Mi 8 and Poco F1.

As per the source, they confirmed the news from retailers of Xiaomi in Rajasthan, Up and Delhi and verified the information about Xiaomi planning to bring the Mi 8 later this year to India. Sadly, there are no much details about the exact launch date of the device.

Xiaomi Mi 8

Mi 8 was launched in China in May and was an instant hit with its low-pricing. As per the source, the Mi 8 is expected to price under Rs.30,000/- which is already taken by Asus Zenfone 5Z in India. With slightly higher pricing we can expect the Mi 8 might be an offline exclusive model as the sub-brand Poco F1 will be cheaper.

Apart from that, we also got the expected pricing for the new sub-brand Pocophone first smartphone Poco F1. Xiaomi is all set to bring the new sub-brand to India on Aug 22 and we already have all the details leaked for the first smartphone with Poco F1 apart from pricing.

Poco F1

As per the source, the new Poco F1 will come in three variants with 6GB/8GB RAM with 64GB/128GB/256GB. The Poco F1 with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal memory is expected to cost lower with Rs.25,000/- in India. We are still not sure about the exact pricing of the other two variants. So sounds, like the Poco F1 will be an online exclusive model and will go via Flash sale which we hate.
