Vivo has finally launched the new Vivo NEX aka Vivo NEX S in India. The Vivo NEX S was launched in China last month and has made entry to India now as Vivo NEX. The new Vivo NEX is priced at Rs.44,990/- and will be available via Amazon and Vivo Online store. The Vivo NEX is already on sale from July 21.
The launch offers includes Flat Rs.4000/- off on HDFC credit card users and also offers No cost EMI option, Extra Rs.5000/- on the exchange of old smartphone, One-time free screen replacement, Rs.1950/- cashback for Jio users in the form of vouchers and Assured buyback of Rs.22,495/-.
The Vivo NEX is built out metal and glass design and looks similar to Vivo V9 from the rear view. The Vivo NEXÂ comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner. Vivo NEX weighs 199 grams and is 7.98 mm thick.
The new Vivo NEX comes with a nearly bezel-less display and no earpiece as it is replaced with Xiaomi Mi Mix like Screen SoundCasting Technology which vibrates the screen and comes with a light sensor hidden under the display which uses ray data compensation algorithm and comes with a pop-up mechanism for the selfie camera which uses micro-stepping motors, with independent drive ICs and precision control algorithms for better functionality.
Vivo NEXÂ also features the third generation of in-display fingerprint sensor which consumes 50% lesser battery, 10% faster and smaller than the predecessor. Both the smartphones also feature dedicated hardware key to launch Google LENS similar to Bixby key on Samsung smartphones.
Both the Vivo NEX sport 6.59 inches Super AMOLED FHD+ display with an aspect ratio of 19.3:9 and having a resolution of 2316*1080p. The Vivo NEX is powered by SD845 SoC coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage option and don’t come with microSD card slot.

The Vivo NEX features the Dual rear camera with a primary sensor of a 12MP Dual PD camera using Sony IMX363 sensor with an aperture of f/1.8 and secondary 5MP camera with an aperture of f/2.8, Dual Tone Dual LED flash and 4-axis OIS. It also comes with 8MP pop-up mechanism based selfie camera with an aperture of f/2.0.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 4G LTE and Dual VoLTE support, Dual Band Wifi & 2×2 MIMO, Bluetooth 5.0, A-GPS, GPS, GLONASS, USB Type-C port, and 3.5 mm audio port. The Vivo NEX S also features CS43199 + SSM6322 Amplifier whereas the Vivo NEX A comes with AK4376A DAC for better audio.
Both the Vivo NEX powered by 4000 mAh battery and support fast charging of 22.5W. The Vivo NEX run on Android 8.1 with FunTouch OS 4.0 on top.
