Earlier we had spotted the cheaper variant for the Microsoft Surface tablet on FCC and today we finally have the device official with Microsoft Surface Go in the US. The new Microsoft Surface Go is priced at $399 (Rs.27,400/-) for the basic model with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage whereas the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage are priced at $549 (Rs.37,700/-).

The Microsoft Surface Go is up on pre-orders US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Switzerland, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Poland, Italy, Portugal, and Spain and will be shipping right from August 2018. Microsoft will also launch an LTE model with Snapdragon X16 LTE modem inside later this year.

The new Microsoft Surface Go look a lot similar to Surface Pro and comes with kickstand with various positions. It weighs around 522 grams and is 8.3 mm thick. The Microsoft Surface Go is made out of metal.

The new Microsoft Surface Go sports 10.0 inches PixelSense Display with a resolution of 1800*2700p having an aspect ratio of 3:2 and is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top. The device also supports the Surface Pen with 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity.

The new Microsoft Surface Go is powered by Intel Pentium Gold Processor 4415Y along with Intel HD Graphics 615 coupled with 4GB RAM/8GB RAM with 64GB/128GB SSD. It features a 5MP selfie camera with 1080p Skype Video calling along with Windows Hello face authentication camera and 8MP rear camera with Auto Focus which can record videos up to 1080p.

The connectivity option includes 1 x USB-C, 3.5 mm headphone jack, 1 x Surface Connect port, Surface Type Cover port, microSDXC card reader, Wifi,  and Bluetooth 4.1 support. The new Microsoft Surface Go features 2W stereo speaker with Dolby Audio Premium and a single microphone. The Microsoft Surface Go can last up to 9 hours on a single charge as per the company. The Microsoft Surface Go is running on Windows 10S but can be upgraded to a full version of Windows 10 for free if needed.
