Vivo has recently unveiled the Vivo X21 in China which comes with iPhone X like notch and today Vivo has silently launched a new budget smartphone Vivo Y85 which comes with similar design with downgraded specs.The Vivo Y85 is already up for pre-orders on JD.com starting from today and is priced at 1598 Yuan (Rs.16,500/-) for the base 32GB storage variant and 1798 Yuan (Rs.18,550/-) for 64GB internal storage.The Vivo Y85 will be available in Black and Champagne Gold.
The Vivo Y85 looks exactly similar to Vivo X21 and comes with iPhone X like a notch.The device is completely made out of metal and is 7.89 mm thick.It weighs 150 grams.The Vivo Y85 sports 6.26 inches IPS FHD+ display with an aspect ratio of 19:9 and resolution of 2280*1080p.
Vivo Y85 is powered by SD450 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM and comes in two storage option with 32GB and 64GB internal storage with an option to expand the storage via dedicated microSD card up to 256GB.
The Vivo Y85 features Dual rear camera with a primary sensor of 13MP having an aperture of f/2.0 and 2MP secondary sensor with an aperture of f/2.0, PDAF and LED flash.On the front, there is a 16MP selfie camera with AI features.The selfie camera also used to unlock the device as it comes with support for face recognition.The device also comes with Vivo custom AI Jovi AI assistant support which makes it easy to handle the daily task and also features AR stickers similar to Animoji.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Wifi, Bluetooth, A-GPS, GLONASS, 3.5 mm audio port, micro USB port and a fingerprint scanner on the back.The Vivo Y85 is fueled by 3260 mAh battery and runs on Android 8.1 with FunTouch OS 4.0 on top.
