Vivo finally launches the World’s first smartphone with under display fingerprint scanner. with Vivo X20 Plus in China.The Vivo X20 Plus UD  is priced at 3598 Yuan (Rs.36,000/-) and is up for pre-orders starting from today until 29 Jan. The Vivo X20 Plus UD will go on sale starting from Feb 1 in China.

The Vivo X20 Plus UD with under display fingerprint scanner is completely made out of metal and looks similar to previously launched Vivo X20 Plus.It weighs 183.1 grams and is 7.35 mm thick.It is available in single colour with Black with Golden borders.

Vivo X20 Plus UD sports 6.43 inches FHD+ Super AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 having a resolution of 2160*1080p.Now, we have the Synaptics made in-display fingerprint scanner which is placed between the glass and the screen.The fingerprint scanner will be placed between the glass and the AMOLED display panel so when the user touches the display the OLED panel will glow up the fingerprint area which in turn sends the fingerprint chip inside will scan the finger and unlock the device.It can unlock the device within 0.6-0.7 seconds.

The in-display fingerprint scanner can also be used to make payments via WeChat and Alipay.The Vivo X20 Plus UD is powered by SD660 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage which can be expanded via microSD cards up to 256GB.

Vivo X20 Plus UD features Dual camera setup at the back with 12MP with an aperture of f/2.0 and 5MP sensor with an aperture of f/1.8 with Dual LED flash.At the front, we have the 12MP selfie camera with an aperture of f/2.0.

The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Dual Band Wifi, Bluetooth 5.0, A-GPS, GLONASS, micro USB port and 3.5 mm audio port.It is fueled by 3950 mAh battery with fast charging support.It runs on Android 7.1.1 with FunTouch OS 3.2 on top.It also comes with features like Face Unlock, Vivo Game Engine for better gaming experience and also comes with ES9318 DAC+ for better audio.
