Micromax launched its latest budget smartphone under Bharat series with Micromax Bharat 5 which is Micromax take on yesterday’s Xiaomi launched Redmi 5A. The Micromax Bharat 5 will go on sale starting from next week and will be available only via offline retail outlets.Vodafone is bundling free 50GB of 4G data (10GB per month) for Micromax Bharat 5 users.

Micromax latest budget smartphone Micromax Bharat 5 is completely built out of plastic as it is a budget smartphone.It is having 5.2 inches HD 720p display. Micromax Bharat 5 is powered by MediaTek MT6737 chip coupled with 1GB RAM and 16GB onboard storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 32GB.

Micromax Bharat 5 comes with a 5MP rear camera with an aperture of f/2.2, AF, LED flash and 5MP Fixed focus selfie camera with an aperture of f/2.2 and 83.6 degrees wide-angle lens.The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Wifi, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS, FM Radio, micro USB port, 3.5 mm audio jack and OTG support.

The main highlight of the device is the mammoth 5000 mAh battery as per company it has 27 hours of talk time and 500 hours of standby time.Micromax Bharat 5 runs on Android 7.0 out of the box and comes with support for 22 Regional Indian languages.
