Earlier Xiaomi teased that upcoming Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus will ship with MIUI 9 on top and also we got the leaked image of the Redmi 5 user manual.Now we have some new leaks which claim that Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus pricing will start from 699 Yuan (Rs.6,999/-) and will go on sale starting from 12 Dec in China.

Xiaomi also shared that the Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus will be announced on Dec 7 in China.We also got the specs details leaked on TENAA listing.Now we have got the details about the pricing and availability.

As per leaks, the Redmi 5 will come in two variants with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage will be priced at 699 Yuan (Rs.6,999/-) whereas the Redmi 5 with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage will be priced at 999 Yuan (Rs.9800/-).The Redmi 5 Plus base variant with 3GB RAM and 32GB onboard storage will be priced at (Rs.9800/-) and higher 4GB RAM and 64GB storage option is priced at 1,299 Yuan (Rs.12,700/-).

Both the Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus will go on sale from Dec 12 in China and also leaks claims that there is huge stock available that everyone can buy the device.

As of now, there are no details about Indian launch and availability, but Xiaomi will surely bring Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus in Indian markets soon.
