Panasonic unveiled its latest mid-range with Panasonic Eluga C which is having 3 sided bezel-less display similar to Sharp Aquos lineup in Taiwan yesterday.The device design somewhat looks similar to some of the earlier launched devices like the Mi Mix etc.The Panasonic Eluga C is priced at $199 (Rs.13,000/-) in Taiwan.
The Panasonic Eluga C sports 5.5 inches traditional 16:9 aspect ratio HD display, unlike the trend which is using the 18:9 aspect ratio display.The downside of the device is the older MediaTek MT6705 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 256GB.
Panasonic Eluga C is having dual camera setup at the back with a 13MP primary camera with f/2.2 aperture and 5MP secondary lens with Dual Tone Dual LED flash beside it.It is having 8MP selfie camera which is located below the display similar to Xiaomi Mi Mix lineup.The rear camera can shoot videos up to 1080p.
The connectivity options include Dual SIM with 4G LTE and VoLTE support, A-GPS, Wifi, Bluetooth, fingerprint scanner with 0.3s unlock located below the display which doubles up as home button, and micro USB port.All this is fueled by 3000 mAh battery and runs Android 7.0 out of the box.
