Nokia launched the Nokia 2 in India beginning of this month which was launched for a price tag of $100/99 Euros and has already gone on sale in the US and other parts of the world. But till date, the device has not yet hit shops in India even after launching the device in India.

As per sources, the HMD Global owned Nokia is planning to launch double the storage and RAM variant of Nokia 2 in India.There will be the base variant with 1GB RAM and 8GB RAM too which will go on sale anytime soon and will be priced at Rs.6999/- and will be available on all leading offline stores.

The premium or higher variant of Nokia 2 will be exclusive to Flipkart and will be priced at Rs.7999/- in India as per sources.So Nokia is planning to give tough competition to brand like Xiaomi which has already taken the Indian markets to next level with its cheap pricing and better specs.

The base variant of Nokia 2 will hit Indian offline store next week and Nokia is planning to launch the higher RAM and storage variant with Flipkart in the month of December.
