After series of leaks about the Samsung next mid-range smartphone Samsung Galaxy C7 2017 aka Samsung Galaxy C8, Samsung finally unveils the device in China yesterday.After launching the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and Samsung Galaxy J7+ with Dual camera setup now Samsung has launched its third smartphone with Dual camera setup with Samsung Galaxy C8.The Samsung Galaxy C8 is likely to be priced at $307 (Rs.20,000/-) in China, as of now Samsung has not announced the pricing and availability.The device will be available in three colors with Black, Gold, and Pink.

Samsung Galaxy C8 is built out of all metal body and looks similar to last year launched Samsung Galaxy C7 only change is the Dual camera setup with Dul tone Dual LED flash which is aligned vertically at the back of the device.On the front, we have the earpiece, sensor and selfie camera with LED flash at the top of the display. Below the display, we have the fingerprint scanner which doubles up as the home button with two capacitive navigation buttons.On the right, we have the power button and volume rocker is placed on the left of the device.The device weighs 180grams and is 7.9 mm thick.

Samsung Galaxy C8 sports 5.5 inches FHD SuperAMOLED display.It is powered by MediaTek Helio P20 chip 4-cores clocked at 2.36 GHz and remaining 4-cores at 1.69 GHz coupled with 3GB/4GB RAM with 32GB/64GB onboard storage.

Samsung Galaxy C8 is having similar 13MP+5MP dual camera combination one found on recently launched Samsung Galaxy J7+.The 13MP camera is having an aperture of f/1.7 where as 5MP sensor is having an aperture of f/1.9 with Dual tone Dual LED flash below the camera module.There is 16MP selfie camera with an aperture of f/1.9 with LED Flash. Both the cameras can record videos up to 1080p.

The connectivity option includes Dual SIM (Hybrid Slot) with 4G LTE and VoLTE support, A-GPS, Wifi, Bluetooth 4.2, micro USB port at the bottom with 3.5 mm Audio port beside it.The device also comes with facial recognition but doesn’t have IRIS scanner.All this is fueled by 3000 mAh battery and it runs on Android 7.1.1 with latest Samsung Experience UI on top. The Samsung Galaxy C8 doesn’t have dedicated Bixby key but Samsung has added Bixby AI support.

As of now, there are no details about the Indian launch and availability.
