Apple finally launches its much awaited and most rumored devices with Apple iPhone 8, Apple iPhone 8 Plus and Apple iPhone X in Steve Jobs Theater at Cupertino.The surprising fact is that now Apple all the three devices will be available in India in the first list of countries.This is the first time Apple has included India in the very first list of countries where new iPhones will be launching.The Apple iPhone 8 pricing starts from Rs.64,000/-, Apple iPhone 8 Plus at Rs.73,000/- and the Apple iPhone X will cost Rs.89,000/- respectively. So be prepared to sell your kidney to get these pricey devices.Here is the list of pricing details for other countries.
The Apple iPhone 8 and 8 Plus will be available for pre-orders starting from Sept 15 and will go on sale starting from Sept 29 in India.The Apple iPhone X will be available for pre-orders starting from Oct 27 and will go on sale from Nov 3 in India.
Apple iPhone 8 and Apple iPhone 8 Plus are the successors to the last year launched iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus instead of calling iPhone 7s and 7s Plus Apple has named it as Apple iPhone 8 and Apple iPhone 8 Plus.
The Apple iPhone 8 and Apple iPhone 8 Plus is now having metal and glass body instead of metal unibody on earlier iPhones.As per Apple the Glass back is most durable glass on both front as well as the back of the device and it uses Aerospace-grade Aluminium frame.Now both the Apple iPhone 8 and Apple iPhone 8 Plus will be available in three color option with Gold, Silver and Space Grey.Apple iPhone 8 weighs 148 grams and is 7.3mm thick whereas the Apple iPhone 8 Plus weighs slightly higher with 202 grams and is 7.5 mm thick.
Apple iPhone 8 is having same 4.7 inches 1334 x 750p Retina HD display whereas the Apple iPhone 8 Plus is having 5.5 inches 1920 x 1080p Retina HD display.Both the devices come with True Tone Display, finger-resistant Oleophobic coating, 3D Touch and Dual domain Pixel for wider viewing angles.
Both the devices are powered by Apple new A11 Bionic Six core Chipset which has 64-bit architecture and comes with Neural Engine and M11 motion coprocessor.There are two storage variants with 64GB and 256GB models.The Apple A11 Bionic Chip is having two high power cores and is 25% faster than the Apple A10 Fusion Chip.Whereas the other four cores are power efficient and are 70% faster than two low power cores on A10 Fusion chip.The Apple A11 is using own Apple made GPU for the first time which has 3 cores and is 30% faster performance than Apple A10 Fusion chip.
The new Apple iPhone 8 is having the single 12MP sensor at the back with an aperture of f/1.8, Quad LED flash and 5x digital zoom.The Apple iPhone 8 Plus comes with Dual 12MP camera sensor with one act as a telephoto lens having an aperture of f/2.8 and another wide-angle lens with an aperture of f/1.8 and Quad LED flash.It also comes with optical zoom and has digital zoom up to 10x, Portrait mode and Portrait lighting.As we saw both the iPhones have the same camera as seen on iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, but Apple claims that new iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus camera sensors sit behind the glass with an improved ISP.With A11 Bionic will help the camera in producing great low-light images and improved sharpness with great dynamic range.The Dual camera of the iPhone 8 has a new feature called Portrait Lighting. The Dual camera of iPhone 8 plus will scan your face and adjust the tone and make the photo look better.You can even change the background light at a real time.
Both the devices have same 8MP selfie camera with an aperture of f/2.2 comes with Retina Flash, Auto HDR mode and Wide Color capture with a Live photo.Both the devices rear camera can record videos up to 4K @60 fps, Slowmo video at 1080p @240 fps and front camera can record videos up to 1080p.Both the device’s rear camera glass has Sapphire Crystal lens cover.
The connectivity option includes Single SIM with 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Dual Band Wifi, A-GPS, GLONASS, NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, fingerprint scanner at the front below the display which doubles up as Home button and Stereo speaker same as last seen on Apple iPhone 7 and 7 Plus.Both the device comes with an IP67 rating which makes it water resistant.Now the all new Apple iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus support Qi standards Wireless charging and also comes with fast charging capabilities.The device will run iOS 11 out of the box and for those waiting for an update on older devices it will be made available starting from Sept 19.

Apple iPhone X is having all screen design with no home button below the display. On top of the display, we have cut out for Stereo speaker and built in mic with FaceID and Selfie camera beside it. At the back we have the Dual camera setup aligned vertically with Quad LED flash separating it.There is no 3.5 mm audio port and Lightning port is located at the bottom with speaker mesh and microphone.The volume rocker with a Silent key is located on the left whereas the Power on of key is located on the right of the device.Now when the device is locked you can launch the Siri by just long pressing the Power key.As the lack of the home button, Apple introduces new actions to launch apps, unlock the device and open multi tasking tray.Now you can swipe up and hold to open the multitasking UI and Swipe up to exit the app and land on Home screen.Now the control center has been moved to the top.
