Google’s upcoming major upgrade for its Android OS with Android 8.0 is now got a launch date will now launch in Q3 2017.Google has codenamed the Android O.The Full name of O is yet to be officially identified.It is expected to be called as Oreo but earlier there were few leaks that it will be codenamed as Oatmeals Cookie.

We have got the timeline for the upcoming Android O. As per the timeline, it is expected to be launched in Q3 2017.As the first Developer Preview of the Android O was launched in March, second Developer Preview was released in mid-May and finally, the third Developer Preview was released in last month bringing some new API that would appear in final version o Android O.The Final version of Android O is expected to release anytime soon from now on.

Android O will be made available to AOSP after the fourth Developer Preview and Final Preview which will be launched anytime soon.With that the final stable version of Android O is expected to launch anytime in August as of now there are no exact dates for the roll out.

Android O will come with some of the new features like Picture in Picture, Notification dots, application badges, support for auto filling, substantial improvement in notification panel and higher text selection.There is also new Media notification, new icon and the new clock.
