Samsung Galaxy S9 will now launch at MWC 2018

Samsung is all set to unveil its next flagship smartphone with Samsung Galaxy S9 next month.Samsung President, DJ Koh confirmed at CES 2018 that Samsung Galaxy S9 will be launched officially at MWC 2018 next month.

Earlier we even had rumours claiming that Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ will be launching earlier than expected.Last year to we had rumours about Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ will launch at MWC which didn’t happen.

If Samsung Galaxy S9 and Samsung Galaxy S9+ announced at MWC 2018 there are chances of the device might go on sale starting from March 2018.The Samsung Galaxy S9 and Samsung Galaxy S9+ will retain the same design with slightly thinner bezels as the last year launched Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8+.

As per earlier leaks, the Samsung Galaxy S9 with 4GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage and Samsung Galaxy S9+ will come in and 6GB RAM coupled with 64GB/128GB/512GB storage space.It will be powered by Exynos 9810 or SD835 SoC.

Alleged Nokia 1 live images leaked.

Earlier we had rumours about Nokia launching the first Android Go OS powered smartphone and will be named as Nokia 1.We also got the Nokia 1 branding leaked on the latest version of Nokia camera app.Now, we have got the live images of the alleged Nokia 1 spotted online.

As per the leaked images, Nokia 1 has the same old design and looks similar to the earlier launched Nokia devices.Probably Nokia 1 might have polycarbonate back with the metal frame as per the leaked images.

As per rumours, the Nokia 1 will sport 720p IPS HD display. It is rumoured to be having just 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage.As per leaks, the Nokia 1 will run on Android Go OS out of the box.

Apart from this, there are no more details available at the moment.Nokia 1 is rumoured to make debut at MWC 2018 held in Berlin next month.

It launched its first home cinema 4K projectors, UHD60 and UHD65 at Infocomm India Exhibition 2017, which have been widely recognized by both consumers and AV partners.
In addition to enhancing the sales strength in home vertical, Optoma India also cooperated with system integrator partners to advance its comprehensive Pro-AV solutions into education and government segments.
“The main objective of Optoma India in 2017 was to expand into the home entertainment market and professional installation projection market (Pro-AV application) of India”, said Gordon Wu, Assistant Vice President at Optoma APAC. “Thanks for the great support provided by our ESP, corporate and AV partners, Optoma India successfully doubled its projector sales in 2017. To outgrow the competition in 2018, we are planning to have more channel partner meets, and to invest more in road shows and marketing events.”

Jio adds two new plans provides 5GB data per day

Jio launches two new plans for heavy data consumption users today. Earlier Jio had updated its plans where they have reduced the price of all packs by Rs.50 and also increased the data limit from 1GB to 1.5GB data/day.

Today, Jio introduced two new packs with Rs.799/- and Rs.509/-.Earlier the Rs.509/- pack use to provide 2GB data/day and now they have increased to 3GB 4G data/day whereas the Rs.799/- pack which use to provide 3GB data/day will now provide 5GB 4G data/day.

Both the plans have a validity period of 28 days and come with standard unlimited calls, SMS and Jio apps.

Alcatel a well-known smartphone brand has launched the new smartphone with Alcatel 5, Alcatel 3V and Alcatel 1X at CES 2018 yesterday.All the Alcatel smartphones have one common thing with 18:9 aspect ratio displays.

Alcatel 5 and Alcatel 3V sports nearly bezel-less display having an aspect ratio of 18:9 whereas the Alcatel 1x might sport standard 16:9 aspect ratio display.Alcatel 3V features a Dual camera setup aligned vertically at the back whereas Alcatel 5 and Alcatel 1X features a single rear camera.

All the three smartphones come with rear-mounted fingerprint scanner located below the camera module.The Alcatel has not revealed the specs of the devices yet will update it once available.

The Alcatel 5 is completely built out of metal and will feature Face unlocking, and USB Type-C port for charging.The Alcatel 3V will feature large display having an aspect ratio of 18:9 but we are not sure about the resolution of the display.The cheapest device with Alcatel 1X will also feature metal unibody construction and will come with face unlocking feature.

 

CES 2018: Vivo demo the first optical fingerprint scanner on mobile phone.

Vivo earlier showed us the on-screen fingerprint scanner earlier in MWC 2017 at China and today it has unveiled the first smartphone to feature the Synaptics made optical fingerprint scanner on a smartphone.

The latest optical fingerprint scanner can unlock the device by just touching on the screen.So there is no need for any physical home button and no need to worry about the design of smartphone and brands can opt for a bezel-less smartphone without any need to think about placing the fingerprint scanner.

Vivo will launch its first smartphone with Synaptic made under display optical fingerprint scanner in early 2018.
