HTC upcoming mid-range smartphone to feature bezel-less display, specs leaked.

HTC is all set to launch some new devices under mid-range segment. After launching the HTC U11 EYEs, now HTC is busy preparing another mid-range to a budget smartphone which will feature new bezel-less display.

As per Evan Blass, the device is codenamed as HTC Breeze and might be the entry-level smartphone from HTC.The upcoming HTC Breeze will sport 5.5 inches Full-screen display with an aspect ratio of 18:9.

The HTC Breeze will be powered by MediaTek SoC coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage.It will feature a 13MP single rear camera and 5MP selfie camera.All this is fueled by 2730 mAh battery and might be running on Android Oreo out of the box.

Apart from this, there are no renders leaked showing the device.Probably as it is entry-level device it might come with metal unibody or stick to same glass and metal design similar to U series.

Oppo A71(2018) launched in Taiwan, coming soon to India.

Oppo has now launched the successor to the last year budget smartphone Oppo A71 with Oppo A71 (2018) in Taiwan and Pakistan.The device is said to be priced at PKR 19,899 (Rs.11,500/-) in Pakistan.The Oppo A71(2018) is available in two colours with Rose Gold and Black.

Oppo A71(2018) is made out of metal and weighs 137 grams. It is 7.6 mm thick.The Oppo A71(2018) comes with AI Beauty Recognition technology similar to what we saw on Oppo F5.The Oppo A71(2018) sports 5.2 inches 720p HD IPS display.

Oppo A71(2018) is powered by SD450 SoC coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage which can be expanded via dedicated microSD card slot up to 256GB.It features 13MP rear camera with an aperture of f/2.2, PDAF and LED flash.There is 5MP selfie camera with an aperture of f/2.4.

The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Dual-band Wifi, Bluetooth 4.2, A-GPS, micro USB port, and 3.5 mm audio port.It runs on Android 7.1 with ColorOS 3.2 on top.It is fueled by 3000 mAh battery and doesn’t have fingerprint scanner support.

Nokia 8 Sirocco to have IP67 rating and will be powered by SD845 SoC.

Earlier we had spotted the new updated version of Nokia 8 with Nokia 8 Sirocco as Nokia TA-1005 on Thai Certification website.Today, we have got some more details about the alleged Nokia 8 Sirocco.Earlier Nokia had tweeted out Surprising devices to be announced at MWC 2018 but has not provided any details regarding the devices which are launching at the event.

As per source, the new surprising device will be none other than the rumoured Nokia 8 Sirocco.Now as per rumours, the alleged Nokia 8 Sirocco will be powered by SD845 SoC and not the SD835 SoC as per earlier leaks.

It will be coupled with 6GB RAM and will also feature IP67 rating which makes the device dust and water resistant.Nokia 8 Sirocco will come with the Dual rear camera with 12MP and 13MP camera combination coupled with Dual LED flash.The camera lens will be using Carl Zeiss lens and will also feature 5MP selfie camera.

It will also support Wireless charging and is rumoured to be priced at 5000 Yuan (Rs.51,000/-) in China.Apart from this, there are no more details leaked.

Finally Android P might come with built-in call recording

Google’s next iteration of Android is all set to be announced soon at upcoming Google I/O 2018 and we are getting series of leaks about the Android 9.0 or Android P. Earlier we had got the details leaked that with Android P Carriers can hide the network signals and also we have got some of the name being selected for Android P.

Today we have new leaks from commits recently received from the repository of the AOSP. As per the codes from AOSP ROM reveal that Google is trying to bring the native call recording feature on Android P.As per the ROM, the Google engineers have named it as call recording tone which is probably the feature of recording the call once the receiver picks the call.The tone is of 1400 MHz and anyone can hear the recorded conversation and will record every 15 seconds while the conversation is being recorded which is nothing but the notification the OS will provide to the user who is still recording the call.

With this move can break certain laws in different parts of the world if Google tries to add this feature to stock Android.It already illegal to record the call with notifying the receiver under US laws and hope Google might be able to find the solution for the same.One more leak tells us that Google is planning to open this feature to all third-party app develops via API.

Xiaomi Mi 6X back panel leaked, shows iPhone X like Dual camera setup.

Earlier we had got series of case renders and case images leaked on Weibo for the rumoured Xiaomi Mi 6X. Now we have got the live images of the Xiaomi Mi 6X back panel which show us the rear view of the device.

As per the image leaked, the back panel of the Xiaomi Mi 6X looks similar to previous leaks with Dual camera setup aligned vertically similar to iPhone X and a fingerprint scanner placed at the middle of the device back with MI branding at the bottom of the device.

The new leaks confirm that device is already under production as at the background we can find many Mi 6X back panel displayed.The alleged Mi 6X is mostly made out of metal from the leaked images.Apart from this, there are no more details leaked and we have to wait longer for few more weeks for some more info for the Mi 6X.

Infocus has now launched new budget smartphone Infocus A2 in India for a price tag of Rs.5199/-.The device is exclusive for offline markets and is available for all leading retail stores across India.The launch offers come with 30GB of additional 4G data for Reliance Jio users and Rs.300 Super cash for Mobikwik users.

The new Infocus A2 is built out of metal and is 8.9 mm thick.It comes in two colours with Black and Gold.The Infocus A2 sports 5 inches HD display with 2.5D curved glass on top.

It is powered by Spreadtrum SC9832 SoC clocked at 1.3 GHz coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage which can be expanded via microSD cards up to 32GB.

Huawei upcoming flagship Huawei P20 is all set to launch on Feb 27 in Paris and with just a few weeks left, we are getting series of leaks and rumours about the device.We are still confused about the exact device name whether Huawei will call the device as P20 or P11 which is not yet confirmed.But as per the new case leaks mention the device as Huawei P20.

As per the new images leaks, the alleged Huawei P20 will have a triple camera as per earlier leaks and the same has been shown on the latest case renders.As per the images, the device will feature triple rear camera which is now aligned vertically.

Microsoft files new patent for its alleged foldable Surface Phone.

Earlier we had got few patents leaks showing the foldable device called the Microsoft Surface Phone, today we have got few more patents which show us the new hinge mechanism for the device.

As per the patent documents, the new hinge mechanism for its Surface Phone is being mentioned as Live Hinge.The new Live Hinge will make the device to open out the two screens into the tablet and when closed it will act as a smartphone.Now the device can also be folded all the way around back under single screen mode as per the images.

As per the above image, we can see the live hinge which has been shown under grey part can be used to connect two screens which are numbered as 160 and 170 so that one can able to fold the screen at any angle.The hinge is fixed between two screens such that when opened the hinge is unnoticed.

As per the patent Microsoft as filed as a Multi-part device which can be folded three different user modes.The first mode users can open the screens up to 360 degrees, second mode one can fold the device at 180 degrees and in the last mode, one can close the device with no screen exposed.

As of now, there are no details leaked about the specs and the availability.Hope Microsoft launches the device soon.

Asus Zenfone 5 renders leaks ahead of MWC 2018 launch.

Earlier we had got the invite for the MWC 2018 launch event which also mentions the number 5 on it.We had also spotted the Asus Zenfone 5 Lite on Russian Certification website and also the Asus Zenfone 5 Max on Wifi Alliance.Now we have the renders of the upcoming Asus Zenfone 5 leaked.

As per the leaked manual, the Asus Zenfone 5 is now having iPhone X like Dual camera setup at the back with LED flash below the camera module.It is having a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner placed in the middle of the device with Asus branding below it.It is having iPhone 7 like antenna bands running on both above and below of the device.So probably the new Asus Zenfone 5 will be built out of metal.

At the front, we have the new 18:9 aspect ratio FHD+ display curved edges with thick top and bottom bezels.Above the display, we have the selfie camera with earpiece and sensors.As per the user manual, the device is having model number ASUS X00PD.

On the right, we have the Volume rocker with the Power button and SIM card tray on the left of the device.At the bottom of the device, there is micro USB port with speaker mesh on either side.On top of the device, there is 3.5 mm audio port.

As per the GeekBench listing, the device is listed as ASUS X00PD will sport 5.7 inches FHD+ display with an aspect ratio of 18:9.It is powered by SD430 SoC coupled with 3GB RAM and is running on Android Oreo out of the box.We are still not sure about the exact model name of the device and it might be the budget smartphone from Asus.

HTC new smartphone with 3GB RAM spotted on GeekBench

HTC is all set to launch few new devices this year which will b both under mid-range and flagship segment.Recently HTC launched the U11 EYEs in China and now we have a new device been spotted at the GeekBench.

As per the listing on GeekBench, the new HTC smartphone is listed as HTC 2Q5W1.The device is powered by the old SD625 Soc coupled with 3GB RAM and no mention of internal storage.

The device is running on Android 8.0.0 out of the box.It might come with new 18:9 aspect ratio display but there are no details leaked about it.Apart from this, there are no more details leaked.The device scored 770 points under single-core test and 3893 under multi-core test.
