Microsoft has applied new patent for smaller notch size for future smartphones.

Microsoft has now filed a new patent which will reduce the size of the notch on upcoming smartphones.Microsoft had applied for the patents in Aug 2016 with patent named as Hybrid Imaging Sensor for the structured light object capture.

The new patent will combine both selfie camera and IR sensor into a single sensor which will save a lot of space and allow to reduce the size of the notch.With this patent, one can put the IR sensor along with light sensor on the selfie camera which in turn can capture the visible light and IR data at the same time without any depth calculation.

It also includes the depth sensor which will help one to blur the background and create the Bokeh effect on the selfie camera.Probably we can see such a camera on the rumoured Microsoft Surface Phone which is rumoured to be the first foldable smartphone from Microsoft.

As of now, the patent has not approved and still under process and if it gets approved we might see some Android and Apple upcoming devices using this patent can make the notch size smaller and provide better viewing experience.

Motorola is on fire after series of upcoming smartphones renders leaked, we finally have one more new device on the list with Moto E5 Play.Motorola is all set to bring back the Play series this year after Moto G6 Play, now we have one more device under budget category with Moto E5 Play.

As per popular tipster, Evan Blass shared the image of Moto E5 Play on Twitter. As per the image, we can see the Moto E5 Play is having traditional Moto design as we saw in the past with Moto G5 and G5 Plus.

The Moto E5 Play is now having thicker bezels on the top and bottom of the device with Moto Branding below the display and earpiece, sensors, selfie camera and Dual LED flash above the display.Sadly, there are no renders leaked showing the rear of the device.So we can expect the Moto E5 Play to come with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The Moto E5 Play will be made available in the US via Verizon Pre-paid and as Moto E5 Cruise on Cricket and is rumoured to be launching on April 3.

Sony Xperia XZ2 Pro spotted on HTML5 Test.

Sony upcoming premium flagship the Sony Xperia XZ2 Pro is all set to be launched at MWC 2018 later this month. Earlier we had got few leaks and rumours about the device.Now, we have spotted the smartphone on popular HTML5 Test Benchmarking website.

As per the listing, the device is listed as Sony Xperia XZ2 Pro and is having model number Sony H1866.As per benchmark, the device is having 4K OLED display with new 18:9 aspect ratio.The Sony Xperia XZ2 Pro is running on Android 8.1.0 out of the box.

Apart from this, there are no more details leaked. As per earlier leaks, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Pro will be powered by the SD845 SoC coupled with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.It will feature 4K OLED display and will feature Dual 12MP cameras on the back.

Asus Zenfone 5 to come with notch, renders leaked.

After Apple launching its much awaited iPhone X with an edge to edge display featuring notch above the display, we saw a trend of notch going on increasing with some of the Chinese smartphone manufacturers.After Huawei, Meizu, Vivo, Oppo, Xiaomi it’s Asus time to bring an iPhone X look-a-like smartphone which is none other than the Asus Zenfone 5.

As per the leaked images from the user manual, the upcoming Asus Zenfone 5 will feature bezel-less display at the front with thicker bottom bezels and notch above the display which include the selfie camera, sensor and earpiece.

At the back, we have similarly aligned Dual cameras as we saw on iPhone X but the LED flash is now below the camera module.It is having fingerprint scanner at the back of the device with Asus branding below it.

At the bottom, we have the USB Type-C Port with 3.5 mm audio jack and speaker mesh. On the top, we can find the secondary noise cancellation mic with antenna bands.On the right, we have the Power key with Volume rockers and SIM card tray on the left of the device.

Apart from this we also spotted the upcoming Asus Zenfone 5 Lite on Geekbench. As per listing on GeekBench, the Asus Zenfone 5 Lite is listed as Asus_X017DA and might be the model number of the smartphone.The Asus Zenfone 5 Lite will be powered by SD660 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM apart from this there are no more details leaked.

Now we have the new 3D renders of the Huawei P20 smartphone leaked.

Earlier we had got the 3D renders of the upcoming Huawei P20 Lite and Huawei P20 Plus leaked, today we have got the last smartphone under the Huawei P20 series with Huawei P20 3D renders leaked.

As per the leaked video, we can see the Huawei P20 is having a similar design as the elder brother Huawei P20 Plus with the nearly bezel-less display at the front with a notch on top and the only change is with Huawei P20 is the physical home button present below the display.

Apart from that, everything looks exactly similar to the Huawei P20 Plus.Sadly there is no 3.5 mm audio port on this device but will feature IR blaster on the top of the device.Huawei P20 is having a dimension of 149*71.3*7.5 mm.

Apart from this, there are no more details leaked about the device. The Huawei P20 is scheduled to be launched on March 27 in Paris.

Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S new renders leaked, to be powered by SD845 chip.

Xiaomi has earlier denied about the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S and finally, we have the official banner of the rumoured device is out.Earlier we had got some sketches of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S leaked with some key specs.

Now, we have the official renders of the device were leaked online.As per the leaked renders, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S looks similar to earlier leaked sketch renders with the nearly bezel-less display at the front with selfie camera now moved to a new position at the top right corner of the device.

On the back, we have the Dual camera setup similar to iPhone X which are separated by Dual LED flash in between the sensor and surprisingly there is no fingerprint scanner.So we can expect Xiaomi might add the in-display fingerprint scanner similar to Vivo X20 Plus UD.On the right, we have the Power button and Volume rockers.

As per leaks, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S will feature 5.99 inches Full-Screen design 3.0 display at the front probably using the same FHD+ resolution display.It is powered by SD845 SoC coupled with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.

Apart from that, it will feature 12MP dual camera using Sony IMX363 sensors and might come with FaceID like facial recognition tech.

Asus Zenfone 5 Lite Press renders leaked ahead of MWC 2018 launch.

Asus upcoming smartphone the Asus Zenfone 5 Lite was earlier spotted on Russian FCC website and we also got few renders of the device leaked.Today, popular tipster Evan Blass has shared the new official press renders of the upcoming Asus Zenfone 5 Lite on Twitter.

As per the leaks, we can see the traditional design of the device with Dual Selfie camera at the front as well as at the back of the device.At the front, we can see the nearly bezel-less display with thick top and bottom bezels.The top bezels carry sensors, earpiece and Dual selfie cameras and nothing on the bottom bezels.

On the top, we have the 3.5 mm audio jack and at the bottom of the device, we have the speaker mesh with a probably USB Type-C port.At the back, we have the Dual rear cameras with Dual Tone Dual LED flash beside it and fingerprint scanner below the rear camera module with ASUS branding at the bottom of the device.

We also got new renders leaked showing different colours of the upcoming Asus Zenfone 5 Lite.As per the leaked renders, Asus Zenfone 5 Lite will come in three colours with Red, Black and White and will be advertised as Midnight Black, Moonlight White and Rogue Red.

Asus Zenfone 5 Lite will be built out of metal unibody.It will feature 6 inches FHD+display with an aspect ratio 18:9.As per Evan Blass, the rear camera will have a Dual 16MP sensor and Dual 20MP sensor on the front.As per earlier leak, it will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon chip coupled with 3GB RAM. Asus Zenfone 5 Lite is all set to be launched at MWC 2018 later this month.

Samsung upcoming flagship is trending online with series of leaks and rumours about the device.Earlier we had got press renders showing the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Samsung Galaxy S9+ leaked. Today, we have a new press renders showing all the colour variants of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S9 and Samsung Galaxy S9+.

As per the leaked press renders, the Coral Blue and Midnight Black colour are the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Lilac Purple and Titanium Silver colours are the Samsung Galaxy S9+.Probably we can expect both the device will ship in four colour variants.Earlier we had already got the new Corl Blue colour variant of the Samsung Galaxy S9+ leaked and it looks similar to the new press renders.

We can expect retailers might sell all the four colour variants of the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Samsung Galaxy S9+ once it goes on sale similar to last year flagship Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8+.The Samsung Galaxy S9 and Samsung Galaxy S9+ are scheduled to be launched on Feb 25 at MWC 2018 in Barcelona.

Apple iPhone X Plus to come with Stylus? iPhone SE2 and low cost Apple HomePod coming soon.

An earlier popular analyst Kuo told the world that Apple will launch three new iPhones X like smartphones this year and even we got some rumours of iPhone SE2 to be launching soon.Today another analyst from Rosenblatt Securities, Jun Zhang shared the Apple upcoming products roadmap for 2018.

As per Jun Zhang, Apple might launch the 6.5 inches iPhone X Plus with Stylus the new Apple Pencil this year. Apple Pencil was launched with iPad Pro last year and is now making its way to iPhones.

The next device is the single-handed usage smartphone the Apple iPhone SE 2. As per the reports, the device will be powered by the powerful Apple A10X chip. So we can expect the new iPhone SE 2 will be more powerful.

Apple is also planning to launch the cheaper version of Apple Homepod this year.Apple unveiled their first smart speaker with Apple HomePod last year and has gone on sale from Feb 9 after delaying it for nearly 8 months.So to compete with Amazon Alexa speakers Apple is planning to bring the $200 (Rs.13,000/-) Apple HomePod soon.

Apart from that, Apple might launch the refreshed iPads with a TrueDepth sensor which will feature the 3D facial recognition feature FaceID.Finally, Apple will bring the Red colour variant of the iPhone 8 this year similar to iPhone 7 and no additional colour variant for iPhone X.
