Huawei is all set to launch the new Huawei P20 series on March 27. Earlier Huawei had trademarked the word Huawei P20 and P11 in some countries. Today, Huawei has trademarked new word the Huawei Mate X.

As per leaks, Huawei has registered the name Huawei Mate X with EUIPO on Feb 9.It might not be the number 10 instead Huawei might plan a device which looks similar to iPhone X.Peobably we might expect Huawei may launch any smartphone in the future with Mate X.

As of now, Huawei has just filed for trademarks and has not yet been approved by the organisation.So we still have to wait for more longer for any official details regarding the Mate X.Till then, Huawei is all set to unveil the new P series smartphone on March 27 at Paris.

Earlier Nokia had pushed the stable Android 8.0 update to Nokia 8 and today HMD Global is pushing out the Android 8.1 update.The new Android 8.1 was announced by Juho Sarvikas on Twitter today.

As per the listing on GeekBench, the Samsung Galaxy S9 is listed as SM-G960F which is the model number of the device.Earlier we had spotted the Samsung Galaxy S9+ on GeekBench with SD845 SoC.Samsung upcoming Samsung Galaxy S9 has scored 3648 on single-core test and 8894 on a multi-cores test.

As per GeekBench, the Samsung Galaxy S9 is powered by Exynos 9810 coupled with 4GB RAM and is running on Android 8.0.0 out of the box with Samsung Experience UI 9.0 on top.Apart from this, there are no more details leaked.

Sony Xperia H8266 spotted on Antutu Benchmarks, sports 18:9 aspect ratio display.

Motorola files patent for flexible bezel-less OLED displays.

Motorola Borderless Flexible OLED display

Motorola has recently filed a patent for its borderless Flexible OLED display. After Samsung, LG, Oppo its now time for Motorola entering the next version of displays with foldable displays.

Motorola has filed patents with WIPO on Aug 3, 2016, and was published on the website on Feb 8.As per patents, we can see the series of images showing the alleged flexible OLED display with almost no bezels.The images show the foldable smartphone with the borderless display.

As per the patent, the Motorola version of the flexible display will have dead pixels on the edges of the device which includes circuit components.The device will have the dead pixel located on behind the frame which will make more space for other necessary components.

Motorola has also applied for without dead pixel OLED panels, which will help to make the borderless OLED display.Motorola will be using the higher version of OLED with Heterogenous pixel structure instead of Active OLED which will make the larger pixels and more complexity to be controlled differently than the smaller pixels with lower complexity.

The above patents can also be applied to flexible displays and one can make the smartphone to a tablet with the help of flex sensors.With using OLED panel without dead pixel can enlarge the image beyond the edge of the device and will also have a cutout for the camera, earpiece and sensor.

Earlier we have seen an official listing of support page live for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+.Now Orange.ro a Romania based carrier has accidentally leaked out the specs of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S9. Sadly the official page has been taken down by carrier now and there is no cache too.

As per the carrier, the Samsung Galaxy S9 will sport 5.8 inches QHD+ Super AMOLED display with Force touch similar to Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+ home button.It is powered by Exynos 8895 SoC, but as per earlier leaks, it would be powered by Exynos 9810 SoC.

The carrier also mentions that the Samsung Galaxy S9 will feature 12MP with Dual Pixel technology and have an aperture of f/1.5 and f/2.4 similar to earlier leaks.Apart from this, the carrier also mentioned the device will support 4G+, Bluetooth, Wifi and A-GPS.
