Xiaomi is preparing to launch the Redmi Note 15 5G in India next week, and a new budget tablet, the Redmi Pad 2 Pro, will accompany it. A recent teaser confirms that this tablet will feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, the same processor used in the global variant that debuted in Europe in September 2025.
The Redmi Pad 2 Pro is set to be unveiled in India on January 6, 2026. Ahead of the launch, tipster Abhishek Yadav has leaked the expected pricing for the Indian market, claiming that the tablet will be offered in three variants: a 6GB RAM with 128GB storage Wi‑Fi-only model priced at around Rs 25,000, an 8GB RAM with 128GB storage 5G model at about Rs 28,000, and an 8GB RAM with 256GB storage 5G version at roughly Rs 30,000.
If this leak is accurate, the 5G versions will come with higher RAM and storage, making them more appealing for users who want better performance and connectivity. The same leak also suggests that the first sale of the Redmi Pad 2 Pro in India will begin on January 12, 2026.
Since this information is based on an unconfirmed report, it should be viewed with caution until Xiaomi officially announces the final pricing and availability.
